About OutdoorSupply

Laundry and refrigeration, from the brands you already trust. We sell the appliances a house actually runs on — described accurately, priced honestly, and delivered from Wasilla.

The gap we exist to fill

There are two appliance shops in most people's lives and very little in between.

One is the marketplace listing. A "bean-to-cup" machine for $89, four photographs, a specification that contradicts itself between the title and the bullet points, and a brand name invented the week before. Sometimes it is fine. Sometimes the boiler fails in a month, and there is nobody to email, because the seller has already relisted under a different name.

The other is the showroom. The same class of machine, properly described, with somebody to talk to — and a price that assumes you are also paying for the floor space, the delivery van and the extended warranty they will try to sell you at the till.

We sit in the middle, and we are honest about what that means. These are mainstream household appliances from established manufacturing, bought in and sold on. We are a retailer, not a maker. What we add is the part the marketplace listing leaves out: a specification you can trust, dimensions in the units you measure in, an address, and somebody who answers.

What we will not do

Four things, because each one is a specific thing the shops above us and below us do, and each one is easy to check.

  1. We will not print a price we never charged. There is not a single struck-through "was" price anywhere on this site. A permanent 70%-off catalogue is not a discount, it is a design choice, and it is one of the clearest signals that a shop is not being straight with you. If we ever run a genuine markdown, the higher figure will be a price we actually charged.
  2. We name the manufacturer, and we name ourselves. Every appliance here is made by somebody else — Whirlpool, GE, KitchenAid, Speed Queen, Maytag and eleven others — and every listing says so in its title, its brand field and a line at the bottom of the page stating that we are an independent retailer with no affiliation to them. That is the honest way round. Hiding the manufacturer would not make us more of a brand, it would just make the listing harder to trust and impossible to price-check.
  3. We will not invent a guarantee. Appliances come with the manufacturer's own warranty and its length varies by machine. We could print "3-year guarantee" across all 329 listings and almost nobody would check. We would rather tell you what actually covers the machine — and where a warranty is silent, or a machine turns up not as described, your rights under federal and state consumer protection law still stand.
  4. We will not use a countdown clock. No timers, no "only two left", no "17 people are viewing this". Our stock levels are what they are, and pretending otherwise to hurry you is the oldest trick on the internet.

What we actually sell

Three hundred and twenty-nine appliances across two departments — laundry and refrigeration. Top load and front load washers and one stacked laundry center; french door, side-by-side, bottom freezer, top freezer and freezerless refrigerators, built-in columns, refrigerated drawers and compact models.

Sixteen manufacturers, led by Whirlpool, GE, FORNO, Frigidaire, Speed Queen and KitchenAid. It is deliberately not endless. Every listing carries the manufacturer's own capacity, cabinet width, finish and model number, stated in inches and pounds. Where we could not verify something, it is not on the page — a listing here with no width stated is one where the manufacturer did not state one, not one where we guessed.

Measurements, in the units you measure in

Appliance listings have a habit of quoting whichever unit flatters the number — a depth in inches, a capacity in liters, a weight in kilograms, all in the same specification table. That is useless when you are working out whether an appliance fits the opening you have.

Every specification on this site is in inches and pounds, as the manufacturer published it. Where the manufacturer gave a metric figure as well, we kept that alongside rather than dropping it.

Delivery

Orders in before 2:00 pm AKT go out the same business day. Free US delivery on every order, tracked either way, and the tracking number is emailed the moment the label prints. Everything here is a large appliance, so everything goes on a two-person pallet service to a booked slot — delivered kerbside, crated, and not carried inside.

Full detail is on the delivery page, and returns are on the returns page — including your statutory right to cancel, which we set out in full rather than hoping you do not ask.
