Navien NHB-H Series 55 MBH – High Efficiency Condensing – Heating Boiler

The Navien NHB-H Series 55 MBH is a compact condensing heating boiler for homes and small commercial spaces with modest heat loss, such as additions, apartments, garages and well-insulated bungalows. Rated at 55,000 BTU/h and 95% AFUE, it modulates deeply so it can match a small load without short-cycling, which is exactly where oversized boilers waste fuel. The low-NOx burner meets strict emissions requirements, and direct-vent sealed combustion allows PVC or polypropylene venting through a sidewall with no chimney. It is heating-only, so it pairs with an indirect tank when domestic hot water is needed, and it runs on natural gas or propane. The 24 in. by 24 in. cabinet mounts indoors on the wall and operates on standard 120V power. ENERGY STAR qualified; installation by a licensed gas heating contractor is required.
